We stock a range of larger inflatables (kites and windsocks).

Note:
Not all inflatables are kites!!! Some inflatables will require a lifter kite.

Lifter kites can be as small as 200cm in wingspan for our small Teddys or Elephants. Larger inflatables like Dolphin will require a larger kite like our 3m Power Sled. Please read the detailed description. If in doubt please ask and we will advise you.

Inflatable Fun Parafoil & Sled Kites from Flying Empress Ltd UK

These kites are refreshingly different foils and sleds. They are all easy to launch and fly in light to moderate winds. Line strengths indicated is for light to moderate winds. We recommend climax Dacron Black as the line to fly these kites.

Flying Empress kites are made from two kinds of synthetic kite material depending on design requirements. They use a soft satin fabric where a smooth and rippling flag-like action is required, and a stiff fabric to help keep large cells open to catch the wind.

Soft Foil Stunt Planes

These stunt planes make fantastic beach kites. Fly them in a wide range of winds from light and moderate to strong winds. While not as
fast as traditional stunt foils, they certainly stand
out from the crowd and add a bit of variety.

In light to moderate winds the planes will sweep across the sky, and in stronger winds you can start doing loops. In a good wind these kites will pull, but shouldn't drag you across the flying field.

Our Blue Elephant windsocks are quite unique. This flying Elephant is a windsock and will require a kite to lift it up. Our 2m Rainbow Delta and our 9ft Deltas will do the job. Choose a kite that is at least 200cm in wingspan (see Delta 200, Ostend Birds or 9ft Deltas).
